To celebrate the forthcoming Disney · Pixar release BRAVE (Released August 17th) The Prince Charles Cinema are proud to announce that they will be hosting a full Disney · Pixar retrospective season, kicking off on Saturday May 26th with TOY STORY and closing on Saturday 11th August with CARS 2, with all being 35mm presentations. The season will run weekly with a different Disney · Pixar title playing every Saturday afternoon, with some titles doubling up to also feature on a Tuesday evening. The Saturday afternoon presentations will also feature prize give-aways and family-friendly pre-screening activities in the bar area.

Alongside the season The Prince Charles Cinema will also be working closely with the team at www.HeyUGuys.co.uk who shall be supporting the season with weekly features and articles dedicated to the full body of work from Disney · Pixar, to help round out the season.

Paul Vickery, part of the programming team at The Prince Charles Cinema, had this to say about the Disney · Pixar Retrospective: “We’ve wanted to programme some Disney · Pixar films for quite some time but we were just always unsure of how to package them. We flirted with the idea of doing an all-nighter, but picking just handful of titles from their catalogue meant leaving some out which we simply couldn’t bring ourselves to do. But with BRAVE on the horizon it felt like now was the time to bring every single Disney · Pixar title back to the big screen, giving each one their own time to shine.”
